We take security and confidentiality VERY SERIOUSLY! Your voice files are transmitted via a local secure server using the latest encryption technology. Every stage of the process is protected and secure to ensure maximum confidentiality. How much does it cost? [Top]
Because each of our clients has unique needs and does not use a uniform report format we strive to customize each quote to fit the individual customer. The cost of transcription is affected by a number of factors, which are taken into consideration when preparing a price quote, but please be assured that our pricing is competitive and quite reasonable.
Many professionals are accustomed to paying a "per page" rate, but we have found it to be more accurate and cost efficient for our clients to charge by the line, using the AAMT standard of a 65-character line. This allows each customer to pay only for what they dictate. In many cases a "per line" rate can drastically reduce your cost of transcription.
Please contact us for detailed pricing information.
Do you offer discounts based upon volume? [Top]
Yes. If your anticipated volume exceeds predefined thresholds we offer volume discounts.
What constitutes a line of transcription? [Top]
Each line, by AAMT standards, consists of 65 characters (or keystrokes) where a character is defined as any letter, number, or symbol necessary for the final appearance and content of a document, including the space bar. Advanced software totals all characters used in a particular file and calculates the number of lines for that document.
